What is silk-screen printing?
Apr 07, 2024
Silk-screen printing refers to the method of obtaining graphics through scraping and printing using screen hollowed out boards and printing materials. During the printing process, the ink on the printing plate leaks from the through-hole of the layout to the substrate under the pressure of the scraper, forming the same image and text as the original manuscript. It originated in China and has a history of over 2000 years.
At present, there are semi-automatic screen printing machines and fully automatic screen printing machines for cosmetic glass bottles. The fully automatic screen printing machine has higher requirements for bottle shape, but the output is higher. As a brand, when selecting cosmetic glass packaging materials, attention should also be paid to the selection of bottle types. Irregular bottle types will have more restrictions on the printing position. Before designing, you can communicate with the packaging factory to obtain the cutting line of the glass bottle to avoid design changes and wasting time.
